This Fall the American Repertory Theater in Cambridge, MA is presenting Cabaret directed by Steven Bogart and starring Amanda Palmer as The Emcee.

AFP to Release EP of Radiohead Covers on July 20th & Announces Special Webcast

On Tuesday, July 20th Amanda will release an EP of Radiohead cover songs titled Amanda Palmer Performs The Popular Hits of Radiohead on Her Magical Ukulele.

This EP is AFP’s first independent release since her departure from RoadRunner Records earlier this year and will be available digitally and on a limited edition vinyl release available exclusively from the AmandaPalmer.net store.

Fall 2010: Amanda Palmer in CABARET at the A.R.T.

Amanda will be performing as the Emcee in a production of Cabaret at the American Repertory Theater in Boston for two months this Fall. The production is directed by Steven Bogart, has choreography by Steven Mitchell Wright (of the Danger Ensemble) and music directed by Lance Horne.

Tickets are not on sale yet, but you will find more information on the A.R.T.’s website. Stay tuned for on-sale information.

AFP Kicks Off Season 2 of Paste Magazine’s Live at Moog on 4/21

During Amanda’s tour last Fall with the Nervous Cabaret they made a stop at Moog factory in Asheville, NC (maybe you remember the “off day. off day? we don’t believe in off days, motherfucker” blog Amanda wrote about the experience).

The Amanda Palmer Live at Moog recording session is finally going to air as the premiere episode of season two of Paste Magazine’s Live at Moog series on April 21st! The episode will feature video performances inside the Moog Factory and include a song from the session available for download.
